2012 Represent Brooklyn show opens this weekend

Spring has definitely sprung and much needed rain has finally arrived to soak the Northeast.  Trees aren't the only things growing in Brooklyn -- we're also popping at the seams with great art!

I'm pleased to be included in this year's Represent Brooklyn exhibition at The Rising Arts Gallery in Brooklyn.  My painting Long I thought that knowledge alone would suffice me, a part of my short series of works inspired by Walt Whitman's Calamus poems, will be included alongside the works of some 36 Brooklyn Artists.

The opening reception is happening this Saturday, April 28 from 3pm to 8pm.

There will also be a closing reception on Saturday, May 19, also from 3pm to 8pm.

The Rising Arts Gallery is located at 35 Claver Place (#1) in Brooklyn, and is easily accessible by the C and G subway lines.  Complete directions to the Gallery can be found on their website.

I hope you can all make it!
