The groundhog's moment of fame has come and gone. Now it's time to dream of Spring, especially since Winter in the Northeast has been such a disappointment. (Yes, I'm one of those rare souls who really likes snow; besides, if it snows enough, they just might close the diamond mines.)
Hominy grits is not dead! Just a little lazy, and very, very busy.
The paint and the brush have been busy too, and I'm already imagining what sort of Zen inspired work I might create for the Spring ango. Here's a part of this past week's efforts, the tip of an iceberg of sorts that's been simmering for a while. (Ouch. Sorry for all the mixed metaphors.) Acrylic on paper this time. Think small. 4" by 6". A lot of fun.
